COLLECTION: Christmas Sweethearts

Alright, my first ever posting... you as excited as I am? Yeah, well, anyway, this is a collection of shots I took on Christmas Eve. First my parents decided to come up and spend the holiday with me in the big apple (weird). Next I decided to invite some friends over. Then at the last minute, things started getting festive. Jess and I bought a tree. I spent a bundle on drinks and cheeses and stuff and in a last ditch effort to get the festive feelings flowing I decided to buy a little gift for everyone who came. Only, I'm broke. All I could afford really were boxes of Sweethearts—you know, the Valentines' candy made by NECCO. Jess suggested I take everyone's portrait with the tarty-hearts and following series was born.

First up, the lovely JessiRae.

Then there was Mike Italy.

Ari and Megan.

Liv.

The other Ari gave it kind of an angy, love sucks twist.

And my mom and dad.

Of course, some people look even prettier without hard candies. Here's Jess again. It looks like she's posing for a school picture—really she's talking on the phone.

Pop again.

My moms gave that trademark mom look.

Ari, my oldest and dearest friend on the planet.

And Twon, who couldn't be bothered to stand still long eneugh to have a picture taken.

Then it was time for dinner. People started puting their clothes back on—we were going out for Chineese—but some of the kids look so sharp I had to take another round of photos.

Well that's it for now. I'm going to try to put something new up here every few days or so... ya'll come back now ya'hear.

Your parents are lovely. Did they beat you as a child?

Wondering?

You did post a pic of your own schnazzer- golden and all- and so I must conclude that these seemingly normal looking folks beat you relentlessly when you were young. Now you have repressed memories and compulsive behavior in which you act out...

Poor thing.

Too damn funny!
